Our mission is to improve the lives of the hearing impaired through biologically-inspired smart engineering of audio-processing integrated circuits. Our Wave Signal Processor technology vastly improves the performance of hearing aids and extends battery life while dramatically decreasing costs.
Management Team
Aaron is a Candidate for Master of Business Administration, University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, Class of 2009. Mr. Nelson has founded several companies over the last few years, one of which was successfully sold to a VC-backed firm. He has experience founding and directing a healthcare service company and with product development consulting. Aaron is currently focusing on finance and entrepreneurship at Ross.
Brian Degnan
Brian is a Ph.D. candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology and specializes in the field of ultra-low power VLSI implementations. He has extensive experience in the area of analog system design and audio perception. While researching at Georgia Institute of Technology, he has done research for several publicly-held companies, the U.S. Government, and co-authored 2 patents. Luis Calderon
Luis is a candidate for a dual degree Masters of Science/Master of Business Administration at the University of Michigan, Class of 2011. Luis brings ten years of startup, consulting and product development experience to the team. Most recently, Luis worked as an analyst at a venture capital fund advising portfolio companies and performing due diligence. Previously, Luis worked as Product Manager for Irdeto IBS, an early stage international telecom division, where he developed and brought new products to the market. Previously, Luis co-founded a computer services company developing open source platforms and worked as a management consultant for Booz-Allen and Cap Gemini.
Dr. David Anderson | Adviser
Dr. Anderson is an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering, and Digital Signal Processing at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Anderson is a pioneer in the hearing aid industry and used his PhD thesis work to help launch the first digital hearing aid into the market. He continues to do active research and product development for tier one hearing aid and consumer electronics firms.
